With the Board of Education election upcoming it's encouraging to see a few new candidates in the race. All three have expressed their concern the lack of oversight with the budget; the newcomers I believe will serve our children well are Dora Marra and Michael Makarski. There are three incumbents seeking re-election; of the three the only one who deserves to be re-elected is Mrs. Eleanore Reinl. She is a person of integrity, honesty and holds no allegiance to any political party unlike her counterparts. Mrs. Reinl is a shining example and has always shown a level of integrity and will provide experience, knowledge and leadership. The Board needs some new blood that will be responsible to the students and the taxpayers with no hidden political agenda and Ms. Marra and Mr. Makarski deserve your support.
As a long standing resident, with children in the schools, I believe we have a chance with this election to make a change, and I urge you to support Mrs. Reinl, Ms. Marra and Mr. Makarski.
