Although some doubt was cast about the fate of Hoboken's school budget Tuesday night, the school budget actually passed in a close vote. The numbers posted on the county website didn't include absentee ballots.

According to Hoboken city clerk James Farina (who also happens to be a long-serving Board of Ed member), including absentee ballots, the school budget passed. (The county's numbers had it failing in a close vote.)
