The Jersey Journal reported today that two pre-school students in West New York are confirmed to have swine flu. The town is next door to Union City, where five second graders tested positive for the virus last week.

According to the Journal, the kids have been out of school since Monday, and the Pretty Faces Learning Center on 62nd Street will be closed until June 1.

The article says that the WNY school district has set up a 24-hour hotline for concerned parents: 201-863-5823. And the North Hudson Community Action Corporation, a group of health centers for low-income residents of Hudson County, will offer information Monday from 9 to 3 at 5301 Broadway.

Has the disease spread to any more of their classmates? We will check into it in order to update this story on Monday.
