After winning state and regional boxing competitions, a Union City man has qualified for the United States Boxing Championships in Colorado on Monday, June 8.
Juan Rodriguez, from the March 15 Reporter cover story “Boxer on the rise,” will be the second Union City Boxing Club member to fight in this national competition. His coach, Joe Botti, said he will begin his pro career shortly after returning from the competition.
