According to Connecticut State Capitol Police, North Bergen resident Harold “Hal” Turner, a white supremacist, blogger, and radio show host, turned himself in to authorities Thursday, and was released after posting a $25,000 court-set bond.

This past Monday, Turner was released on another $25,000 bond in Hudson County Superior Court.

Police have charged Turner with allegedly inciting his web readers to threaten state lawmakers.

Police said Turner’s blog allegedly urged readers to “take up arms to deal with State Senator Andrew McDonald, State Representative Michael Lawlor and Thomas Jones, an employee of the State Ethics Commission.”

Turner is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, June 22. -- Tricia Tirella

Since when, in America, do people deserve JAIL for their opinions?

This guy should sit for a very long time in jail. He and many others of his ilk are inciting fringe members of society to take violent action. Dr Tiller and the killing of the security guard in DC are prime examples. Hate speech should not be protected especially if it incites violence. These radio personalities are dispicable.
