Raises $125,000 for Palisades Medical Center – On May 11, more than 160 Palisades Medical Center Foundation supporters gathered at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus during the 19th Annual Palisades Classic Golf & Tennis Tournament. The event raised more than $125,000 to help Palisades Medical Center and the Harborage upgrade facilities, expand services, and establish greater contact with the community.

More than 120 golfers hit the links, 16 tennis players put their racket skills to the test, and dozens more came to enjoy the evening reception. Dozens of local companies and organizations sponsored the Palisades Classic, including top sponsors Qualcare Inc., Siemens Medical Solutions USA and Verizon.

“We are extremely grateful to all of the individuals and organizations that helped make this year’s Palisades Classic an overwhelming success,” said Bruce J. Markowitz, President and CEO of Palisades Medical Center. “Their generous philanthropic support during these challenging economic times shows that Palisades has truly made a strong connection to the people and communities we serve.”
