HOBOKEN -- The man who apparently jumped to his death from his eight-story residence in Hoboken's Tea Building on Sunday morning has been identified.

Police say he was Mark Effinger, 45. Effinger was a vice president at Mformation, a global telecommunications company based in Edison.

His family has been notified and they are on their way to speak with the police, police said.

They said the death is under investigation by the Detective Bureau, but is not considered suspicious.
