HOBOKEN AND BEYOND -- At 100 years old, Carlo’s City Hall Bake Shop has become one of the key institutions in Hoboken and Hudson County, which may explain why the Hudson County Board of Freeholders at their Thursday, June 10 meeting to name the corner of Washington and Newark Streets “Carlo’s Bakery Way."
Carlo's is the home of TLC's "Cake Boss" reality TV series, of which Buddy Valastro -- the master baker at Carlo's -- is the star.
