An error was made in typing up last week’s letter from Dr. Daniel Simone entitled “Stop the police layoffs and demotions.” The first paragraph should have read: Recently Mayor Zimmer introduced her budget to the City Council and called upon efficiency in local government. It included a small tax decrease. She also included in her budget a “rainy day fund” from the recently discovered several million dollar budget surplus.
