Funeral mass was offered Dec. 3 at St. Michaels Church for Joseph L. Kyne, 86, formerly of Jersey City and Freehold. He passed away Nov. 29. Born in Hoboken, Joseph lived most of his life in Jersey City before moving to Freehold six years ago and most recently Old Bridge. Joseph was a retired messenger for Bradford Financial and REA Express, both in New York City. He is a member of the Holy Name Society, The Monkey Club, The Buddy Boyle Association and a communicant of Saint Michael’s Church. Joseph was the husband of the late Mary (McDonell); father of Gerard J. Kyne and Drew Kyne and his wife Maureen (Taylor) and the late Joseph Kyne; grandfather of Lauren Kyne; and brother of Lawrence Kyne and the late Theresa Lieve, Mary Bevers and John Kyne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
