NORTH BERGEN AND BEYOND -- Media outlets are reporting that a worker at a North Bergen nursing home, Harborage Home, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an elderly patient. The family of the victim - Modesta Alvarado, 87 - placed a hidden camera in her room after finding bruises on her, according to reports.
The woman recently died, and the camera revealed an attack the day before, police said.
Police did not say the death was the result of the attack, but are investigating.
