Dear Editor:
Sixteen years have already been served by Councilwoman Theresa Castellano and if elected she will have controlled the First Ward City Council seat for twenty years. Over the years, I have agreed and disagreed with Castellano, and I would like to thank her for her service to our city. However, it is my belief that our founding fathers never intended elected officials to make a career of their public service. After sixteen years the time has come for new ideas, a fresh perspective and a change in representation of the first ward.
