WEST NEW YORK -- According to West New York Police, a 29-year-old man from Union City was charged in the shooting of a 14-year-old West New York boy on May 14 on the corner of 60th Street and Fillmore Place. The shooter was arrested May 31 in the West New York area.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegal possession of a weapon and attempted homicide, reports said.
The Police Detective Bureau in West New York was credited with the capture.
