SPIZZIRRO, GEORGE R. – A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 8 for George R. Spizzirro, 84, of Belford, formerly of Jersey City. He died on Jan. 5. He worked for Jersey City Printing Company for over 30 years before retiring in 1972. He was a communicant of St. Paul of the Cross Church in Jersey City, a member of the St. Anthony's Bowling League and an avid Giants fan. Survivors include his daughters, Joan and Patricia; his son George; a sister, Evelyn, and two brothers, James and Richard; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren
