WEST NEW YORK AND BEYOND -- According to West New York Police Captain Mike Indri, on Tuesday morning, en route to Turtleback Zoo for a field trip, two West New York school buses were in an accident after another vehicle on Route 280 hit one of them.
State police are investigating the accident.
None of the children on the bus were injured, but they were taken to local hospitals as a precautionary measure.
West New York Board of Education officials, school administrators, and parents were contacted about the accident.
