A funeral mass was offered Sept. 10 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church for Joanne Rocca, 80. She passed away Sept. 8. She was born in Hoboken and lived most of her life in Union City, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Ss. Joseph and Michael Parish in Union City and a former member of the Sacred Heart Society. Joanne was the wife of the late Joseph Rocca and the mother of Edward Whitehead, Joseph Rocca Jr. and Marianne Catanese. She was also the grandmother of 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
