Funeral mass was held Oct. 10 at Sacred Heart Church, North Bergen, for Henry J. Wojtowicz, 75 of Rohoboth Beach, Del., formerly of Jersey City and Guttenberg. He died peacefully on Oct. 5 at his residence. He was the son of the late Walter and Tessie (nee Zasowski) Wojtowicz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Edmund and Thaddeus, surviving are a niece, nephew, several cousins and many friends. Henry was a Catholic priest for more than 30 years serving as an Associate Pastor in parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Newark, Hudson and Bergen counties. He then worked for ten years as a Pastoral Counselor at St Anne’s Home for the Aged in Jersey City. He earned his undergraduate degree in classical languages from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ and was ordained after completing his studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary, Darlington, NJ.
