At a recent ceremony, AAA North Jersey presented the Weehawken Police with an AAA Award of Merit. The AAA award gives recognition to communities with outstanding traffic safety program activities. Weehawken has very effective traffic safety enforcement and education programs including D.W.I. checkpoints and commuter inspection checkpoints.
