Dear Editor:

As a long-time resident of Secaucus with many experiences in Meadowlands Hospital, I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience during my husband David’s recent stay at the facility on Thursday January 19, 2012.

Our experience with Dr Perez in the emergency room was very assuring and I am pleased to say that his care was excellent.

My husband was transferred to 3 West and he was immediately taken care of by staff wound care nurse, Joe Delduca and the department head nurse Debbie.

I also want to offer my sincere thanks to Janine, the nurse manager who assisted in getting David a new mattress on his hospital bed. Janine was very helpful in having his room relocated closer to the nurse’s station due to his serious condition.

Dr. Moukdad and Dr. Ahad gave him superior care during his stay. My husband has been a patient of these two professionals, who have taken care of him for many years and treat him like a family member. The care is impeccable.

I can honestly say that I felt secure that my husband was well cared for by everyone from the moment we entered the hospital.
