HOBOKEN -- Two years ago, some mustard-covered buzz surrounded the potential opening of a Windmill hot dog restaurant in Hoboken, an extention of the popular chain at the Jersey Shore. But then the talk faded like so much butter into the crack of a gently browning bun.

Yet, it looks like the store is finally going to open - this time a few blocks from the PATH station, not in midtown as once reported.

A knowledgeable source said that a pair of owners closed on the deal today (Tuesday).

Windmill Hoboken already has its very own website, although their phone number and other items have not yet been filled in. In fact, the menu items (like a burger or chili cheese dog) are listed for $0.00. Such a deal!

The location is listed as 79 Hudson St.

So even if Snooki is banned from filming around here, not all "Jersey Shore" items are verboten in the mile-square city.
