Police recover daggers, pellet guns, and pot
Guttenberg Police executed a search warrant at 220 69th St. on Feb. 25 under the lead of investigator Keith Hilcken that led to the arrest of a resident on charges related to dangerous substances and weapons, police said last week.
Police entered the residence and allegedly recovered over 50 grams of marijuana, four vials of Ketamine, and numerous Amphetamine pills, a police spokesman said. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly threw a black cylinder from the second floor window during the search warrant, which allegedly contained a large amount of marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia.
According to the report, police also recovered knuckles, nunchakus, blow darts, knives, fireworks, daggers, a metal baton, and plastic pellet handguns allegedly made to look like authentic handguns.
According to Captain Joel Magenhemier, police arrested and charged John Tarabay, 22, Guttenberg, with numerous CDS (controlled dangerous substance) charges as well as weapons charges. He has posted his $50,000 bail.
“This is the second time we raided his house,” said Magenheimer.
