Dear Editor:

The Superintendent’s office sent a response to several parents who indicated concern regarding the desire for focus on the high school and concerns regarding disappointing test scores. The Superintendent’s office provided the following excuse: “I can suggest readings to you published by the College Board which talk very frankly about the correlation of family income with SAT scores.”

I would like to point out just some of the schools that did outperform HHS SAT scores: Camden, Newark, Jersey City, North Plainfield, South Plainfield, Atlantic City, Union City, Paterson, Rahway and Perth Amboy.WOW! Thank goodness Bill Clinton wasn’t in Mr. Raslowski’s school district.
