HOBOKEN -- City officials gathered for a ribbon cutting at Jefferson Street Park at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon. Installed in the park were new play equip m ent and a safety surface.
The park reopening comes five days after the Jackson Street park's reopening. Both parks had similar equipment installed as part of a city-wide playground improvement initiative. Legion Park, at 1225 Willow Ave., is also expected to re-open this week. -Stephen LaMarca
