Funeral service was held June 8 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Olympia Sumter, 38. She passed away June 1 in her Jersey City home. She served her community for 13 years as a Jersey City police Officer. She is survived by her father Johnnie; her daughter Jerlyssa; and her four sisters and two brothers.
