Phyllis worked for Western Electric in Kearny, Standard Brands Coffee in Hoboken, Hudson City News Company in North Bergen and as a salesperson for Sears Automotive. Phyllis was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus where she was a member of the Rosary Society, a past Eucharistic Minister and a Lecturer for 20 years. She was also a member of The Bocce League and a member of The Secaucus Golden Age Club. Phyllis will be remembered as the epitome of motherhood, a strong, independent, and caretaker of her large family, whose needs were always foremost in her heart. She was in every sense a “Homemaker” and the home she created was forever filled with love, good food, flowers and beauty. She will be most endearingly remembered for her devotion to her husband and children, and for her stoicism and dignity in the face of illness. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
