The National Association of Professional Women of Hudson County held a Women’s Connect, Learn, Grow and Inspire Networking Brunch on Saturday, June 16, 2012. The event was extraordinary and successful. First, The God I know is an awesome God who brought this event together for a purpose and reason. The NAPW of Hudson County represented and set out doing a magnificent mission making the event a success. There were truly powerful women in the house and phenomenal as each one of them is we had a magnificent time connecting and networking amongst each other. Our honorees, Senator Sandra B. Cunningham, Dr. Andrea Blake – Garrett, Monique Smith; Owner of Monique’s Techniques and Donna Swearengen merited themselves to be honored for their accomplishments and because they continue to exert themselves working with women, children and families.
The NAPW event was completely enrich with entertainment from two beautiful young women who brought the house down with their magnificent voices. Mrs. Lisa Marie a professional and exceptional opera singer with a powerful voice graciously performed out of the goodness of her heart and Priscilla Hall a vibrant and adolescent teenager with a genuine voice sung like an angel. The NAPW members and I worked long and hard for the event to be a success and each one of us gave from our hearts and did it without hesitation. Inspirational thanks to my local chapter NAPW members who are dedicated and motivated and to the many other chapters throughout the country who sent their well wishes. Most graciously, donations came from Mayor Brian Stack of Union City who is an amazing and dedicated person, Hoboken Police Officer Jason Falco, La-Shaunda Ross, Super Foods located in Hoboken. Thank you to the many media outlets and multitude of people who got the word out and graciously advertised the event.
