West New York residents gathered for the third time to rally against recent tax increases Sunday afternoon. Hundreds marched on Bergenline Avenue north toward Town Hall on 60th Street.

Dr. Felix Roque, who has been critical in organizing these events, led the group and spoke out against the current administration from the top step of the West New York Public Library across the street. With two bodyguards at his side, Roque announced that he will go through with the process to recall Mayor Sal Vega.

I can’t believe I missed all of this because I had to go down south.

I am glad that the WNY residents are sticking with each other in this time. I never thought that I would see this day come.
