Residents of mile-square Hoboken were cleaning up all over town this past weekend.
But be careful of how you clean up - as this story in this past weekend's Reporter article, 'What's in the Water', explains.
Lowlying areas saw their basements flooded during Hurricane Sandy, and with the power back on as of a week ago in many places, they've only begun to dig out.
Among the items spotted - a bashed-in drum, some old baptism books near a church, and what looked to be several ruined antiques.
On Willow Avenue, someone's own "Rosebud" appeared to be getting the heave-ho.
The good news is, items being donated from around the country are now being given to the Hoboken homeless shelter and other needy places.
