A funeral mass was celebrated Feb. 22 at St. Nicholas Church for Theresa “Terry” Nalbach, 58. She passed away Feb. 17 in Jersey City. A lifelong Jersey City resident and communicant of St. Nicholas Church, Theresa was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy High School and Drake Business School. She worked for many years for Jamesway Department Stores in Secaucus before going to work for Gerber Childrenswear, Inc. in 1997 where she has been the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO. Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Helen (nee: McGraw) Nalbach. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Hughes and her husband Raymond; brothers, Peter Nalbach, Deputy Chief, JCPD and his wife Deborah and Patrick Nalbach, retired LT., JCPD and his wife Maggie; nieces, Elizabeth, Colleen and Erin; nephews, Peter and Joseph, 10 great nieces and nephews, her aunt, Teresa Caro and her husband Eddie and uncle, Joseph Nalbach and his wife Rosie. She is also survived by a host of family and friends too numerous to mention. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
