Promises, promises, promises

Dear Editor:

Hoboken’s March 20th City Council Meeting once again illustrated how Mayor Zimmer and her allies on the City Council are not serious about providing Hoboken with more parks. Time and time again the mayor and her allies have fallen short on their open space promises. Council President Cunningham has made it abundantly clear that he wants to just drag this out and hopes that Hoboken residents will just forget about it and the whole issue will just go away.

Councilman Tim Occhipinti is leading the charge to acquire blighted lots on Jackson Street to turn them into open space. It’s a shame that Mayor Zimmer - who used to claim she was always for more open space - now drags her feet and won’t support this proposal. The petition that Councilman Occhipinti presented before the City Council clearly shows that this is what the people want. For Mayor Zimmer and her allies to simply ignore this common-sense proposal is truly shameful on their part. I hope that more people will support Councilman Occhipinti’s efforts to use this open space for a park and tell Mayor Zimmer to put politics aside and do what is good for the people!

Sincerely,
Jay G (Concerned Citizen)

Keep publishing the truth with those anonymous Anti-Semetic screeds. If you keep nailing the right Jew at City Hall, Beth says it's a-ok! Remember Beth's the real victim and is being stalked by the FBI. If you don't think Beth's a national victim on par with Gabby Giffords, she'll sue again until you do.

Hey, HobokenLeaks is not on our team, stop giving that Zimmerist cretin free publicity for his lower spending/taxes anti-corruption platform. SS and a bunch of other Hobokenites insisted on writing too many facts but we can't win arguing facts so it's better to sue them all. Stop the bullying facts and the finger pointing at our operatives!

Okay have to get to the big meeting at the "Art Gallery," where Matty is busy putting up and taking down three pictures for the next six hours before heading back home to Timmy Occhipinti's campaign HQ where another batch of meth is being cooked up for his HHA campaign workers.

Things still looking like a go and with your continued support, we're ready to launch the 2013 edition of Running of the Jew, the back to New England chronicles.

A Beth-Borat production.

Let's see. 1600 Park is coming online in few months and your Clueless Tim wants to spend $17 million for 2 small pocket parks while Mayor Zimmer wants to spend half as much for a contiguous park that is over one acre in size. You like Tim are either incompetent or a complete fraud.

Oh goody, another comment from a member of the Zimmer Attack Pack, whose job it is to tear down anyone who writes a letter or makes a comment against the wishes of town hall. SS, you should be embarrassed. ADidn't you move an hour out of Hoboken and you still have to post here to get pat's on the back from your bully pals?

Sorry, there are free thinkers who havent been cyberbullied into keeping their mouths shut. You and your pack can keep trying and keep stalking Mason, but we will just smile, nod, and wait until you get tired of continuing the darkness that you somehow claim to be trying to stamp out.

SS, it's good you left town with that attitude. Now I'm sure we'll here from hobokenleaks and masonop9 and the other members of the bully squad.

Hey that name ss1959, we know that bully. We fixed him and a bunch of others who dared to speak out against us. Threw'em and a whole bunch of their names into our Beth Mason defamation lawsuit.

Any of these citizens speak out, we'll sue you too!

We're going to teach these bullies a lesson, one lawsuit at a time.

Cuz that's how Beth rolls!

Signed,

Beth Mason Operative #9

Oops, I didn't mean to post under MasonOp this time, meant to post under HobokenLeaks. That was a slip, CIty Hall made me write that! I come here often because I hate hate when news sites print the truth! That means people might not believe my fantasies on my blog!!

I noticed that after the lawsuit was filed, SS and I stopped writing things that weren't true about the person who filed it. It is a testament to my bullying powers that someone has to go to that length! I think other people should have to hire lawyers to stop bullying in Hoboken to!!

I shouldn't write things that aren't true anyway! Glad someone finally gave me the kick I needed! Only question is, when will the mayor stop tascitly endorsing my antics? Time will tell!

Hobokeneer- It also could be that they fear ridicule and disproportionate retribution from the mayor's overly zealous supporters.

Well said! I live in the 4th Ward and Tim is a great councilman. I used to support Mayor Zimmer when she would talk about park space in South West Hoboken - in fact, that's why I voted for her the first time. But since then - absolutely NOTHING has gotten done in regards to open spaces. I really like my councilman. He's the best one I've ever had in Hoboken. And hopefully HobokenLeaks is serious and Tim makes a go of the mayoral race - he'd find a voter in me!

Just amazing how concerned anonymous citizens keep popping up in the Letters to the Editor.

I wonder why people are not willing to sign their name? Here's a guess: They are really written by the folks who are propping up the Tim Occhipinti for Mayor campaign, and trying to show a "ground swell" of support for him.

Not buying what these anonymous writers are selling.
