Sacco, Prieto and Jimenez kick off Dem primary campaign with rally

NORTH BERGEN – State Sen. Nick Sacco, Assemblyman Vincent Prieto, and Assemblywoman Angelica Jimenez will hold a public rally to officially begin their re-election campaign in the 32nd Legislative District Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. at Schuetzen Park Banquet Hall, 3167 Kennedy Boulevard in North Bergen.

The district includes North Bergen, West New York, Secaucus, Guttenberg, Kearny, Harrison, East Newark, Fairview and Edgewater.

Hundreds of local supporters and volunteers as well as major political leaders from Hudson County and surrounding areas are expected to attend the event, including Congressman Albio Sires, Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari, Hudson County Democratic Chairman Mark Smith and Democratic Gubernatorial candidate State Senator Barbara Buono, among others.

Sacco, Prieto and Jimenez are running in the June 4 Democratic Primary Election for the party’s nomination in November’s General Election. They have the support of the Hudson County Democratic Organization and the Bergen County Democratic Committee, the two counties located within the 32nd District.
