A funeral mass took place May 15 at St. Joseph and Michael’s for Beulah Rizzi of North Bergen. She passed away May 11. Predeceased by her husband, Edwin J., she is survived by her children, Michael and wife Jackie, Deborah, Daniel and wife Michele and Denise Coursault and husband Joe. A grandmother, she was predeceased by Christopher Rizzi and survived by Dean Rizzi and Dore Krankel and special great grandchildren, Zachary and Alec Rizzi and Hudson and Violet Krankel. Beulah met her husband, Edwin in Louisiana, where he was stationed in the service, World War II and her as a lab technician for Firestone Tire and Rubber in Lake Charles, LA as part of the historic mobilization of American Women in support of the War effort. She was very active in SS. Joseph and Michael’s Parish, Union City, recording secretary for the Sacred Heart Society and founder of the Bargain Basement, which raised funds for the Parish. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
