Bayonne resident Deirdre Hughes, a former Bayonne High School student, who is currently a graphic designer at Baum Textiles, will compete in her first triathlon, the IRONMAN 70.3 in Mont Tremblant, Canada, on June 23. She is racing with Team in Training and fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “I am proud to represent Bayonne, New Jersey, and the United States in this race,” she said. “I have a goal of $3,900 to raise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and would like to ask for help from the community. Any donation would be helpful, and all are 100-percent tax-deducible.
