Student art show this Wednesday

Kennedy School is hosting its first ever Student Art Show on Wednesday, May 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. More than 500 pieces of student art will be showcased and will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go toward school programs. The event was organized by the Kennedy Teachers Organization. Kennedy School is located at 1210 11th St.

Township names new purchasing agent

North Bergen appointed Suzanne Taylor the new qualified purchasing agent during the township’s Commissioners Meeting on May 22. Taylor replaces the retiring Arlene Walthers. “We’re thrilled to bring in a purchasing agent with 20 years of experience,” said Township Administrator Christopher Pianese. “We’re looking forward to a smooth transition in the Purchasing Department.”
