The town was in a festive mood on April 4 when the Secaucus High School class of 2011 hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Held in the high school gym, the event attracted about 150 eager children who sifted through straw to find colorful candy-filled plastic eggs.

The event, a fundraiser for the class of 2011, also featured photo ops with Peter Cottontail, a petting zoo, and a Moon Walk.

Residents paid $5 to participate, and proceeds will go toward the junior prom for the class of 2011.

After the Egg Hunt, those who still hadn’t had their fill of Easter cheer went to Marra Drugs for more face time – and free stuffed animals – with the season’s favorite bunny rabbit.
