Dear Editor: Many of you may know me as someone who cares greatly about Hoboken's senior citizens. I do, I am a senior citizen myself having recently celebrated my 70th birthday. But, I care just as much about the children in our community who represent our future. Our children need honest, hard-working, caring individuals to represent them on the Hoboken Board of Education. This is why I believe it is so important to vote on Tuesday, April 18 for the "Excellence in Education" slate of David Anthony, Wanda Santana-Alicea and Michele Russo. Please join me in supporting the "1+7=8" team. Let's ensure all of our children and grandchildren receive a quality education by voting on April 18. Anthony, Santana-Alicea and Russo have our children's best interests at heart. Vincent J. Barbo
