Dear Editor: Your article on the lawsuit Secaucus has filed against Jersey City's tax contracts (aka "abatements") correctly noted that if Jersey City loses the suit, Jersey City's taxpayers will have to pay a greater share of the county's taxes. My political opponents who live in Jersey City and are rooting for Jersey City to lose this case are in effect rooting for an increase in their own county's taxes! Bret Schundler Mayor
