And yet we are supposed to hire baby-sitters and sit in long boring meetings in order to be heard? Let us come out of the dark communication ages my friends! The government is obliged to gather information more effectively than it does to better serve the community. Most of us are overextended. This is a fact of Western life. The idea that Van Vorst Park is small and can't serve the community may be true. However, if parks are not for children, who are they for? Parks should always accommodate children and dogs first. Everyone else is working. I rarely see an adult in the park without a child. My question remains; who is the park serving? An unprivileged and exhausted Mom
