It was a fantastic Fourth of July for anyone who could view the Tall Ships and fireworks display in Hoboken. I have to congratulate those city employees who worked all that day and into the evening. They were wonderful, hardworking, courteous and a credit to Hoboken.
On July 4, city residents and the thousands of visitors that came to Hoboken enjoyed the parade of Tall Ships and the evening's fireworks display. Senior citizens and disabled residents appreciated the special viewing area that Mayor Russo set aside for them. With so many viewing areas from our waterfront parks it was a delightful day.
I appreciate the concerted efforts of all who planned and oversaw the July 4 events, thanks for a great day.
