What a wonderful day was spent in your friendly town of Hoboken for the Fourth of July festivities! Since the only familiarity we had of Hoboken was visiting Frankie & Johnny's (a wonderful restaurant, I might add) on a few occasions, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that your town has a lot to offer!We arrived into town about 8:30 a.m. via the train and found a beautiful spot to enjoy the OPSAIL 2000 right on the pier. Since my husband had to work, I was alone with my two children but felt very safe and secure to see so many police officers walking through the park. Everyone was friendly and helpful wherever we went, including the fabulous street fair. We discovered great, affordable food at the Black Bear Pub and delicious desserts at the Dessert Cafe. From the train station to the glorious fireworks celebration, the great organization of your town was truly evident. Hats off to you, Hoboken!!
