The Korean War Veterans Association of Hudson County wishes to thank the public for their generosity during our annual fund drive this past July.We deeply appreciate your kindness.
On June 25 of this year, we observed the 50th anniversary of the start of the Korean War. This "forgotten war" as some historians have called it, firmly stamped in history the stand of the United States against communism and misguided aggression in Asia.
This year finds the KWV Association of HC working to build and finance a fitting monument to honor our fallen comrades. More than 130 young men from the 12 communities in Hudson County made the supreme sacrifice. It is our duty to remember them.
