Dear Fellow Citizens:

The Uniformed Emergency Services of North Hudson in the County of Hudson, Guttenberg, North Bergen, Union City,West New York and Weekawken, want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the people who contributed to our "Boot Drive" during the last two weekends.

Through your generosity, we raised a total of nearly $500,000.00 for the families of our fellow emergency workers in New York. Some of the contributions will be distributed to the families of North Hudson residents who perished at the World Trade Center on September 11.

The generous contributions from your heart to their hearts will provide some financial support to the families of the victims, who valiantly gave their life in the service of others.

Contributions will still be accepted by mailing a check payable to : North Hudson Emergency Services Charity Fund, P.O. Box 911, Union City, NJ 07087-0911.
