I am writing this letter to thank everyone who helped sponsor our 100 People Family Day Trip to Rye Playland on August 23, 2002. Specifically, I would like to thank Mayor David Roberts and Council President Ruben Ramos, Jr. for sponsoring our transportation to Rye, NY. I also would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fourth Ward Councilman Christopher Campos and Human Services Director Carmelo G. Garcia for helping us raise the money we requested to help cover most of the entrance fees for our children in the Hoboken Housing Authority.
Additionally, I would like to thank some of our private contributors for sharing their resources with our community. Specifically, a word of praise must go out to Lorenzo Johnson of Parquet Floor Service; Kelly Family Chiropractic; Martini Blue and the Hoboken Brownstone Company for helping to make our trip a huge success. Furthermore, I am also extending a word of gratitude to several people who asked to remain nameless.
Through your combined efforts our children and their families were able to experience a wonderful day of fellowship. I look forward to working with everyone in the future on behalf of our community.
