Please allow me to say thank you to the voters in the 5th Ward who supported me in my bid to represent our part of Hoboken in the City Council. I earned the support of 38 percent of the voters who participated, and I am proud of that. A special thank you to the people who supported my effort with their time, talents and money.
In the 10 years I have spent working with community groups in Hoboken, I have never found myself surrounded by a finer group that the volunteers and key people in the Hoboken Alliance for Accountable Government. We are putting our hearts and minds to the goal of making Hoboken a city that works for the people who live here now. Three of my running mates have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the future of our city, and I will continue to work to see them get elected. I encourage voters in the First, Second and Sixth Wards to support Ron Rosenberg, Elizabeth Mason and Daniel deCavaignac in the runoff election on Tuesday, June 10.
