Dear Editor:

As a School Board Trustee and also a candidate in the Hoboken Board of Education election, my focus is to put our children first.

As the mother of two children, I am aware that children are not educated only the their teachers. It takes parents, youth leaders, coaches, administrators and their staff, board members and neighbors. An entire community working together.

It takes all of us to ensure that children grow up healthy and happy, with an understanding of the world and the promise it holds. The future of our children depends on us all.

My special thanks to all of you for the work you do for our students.

And thanks to all of you supporting the incumbents Frances Rhodes Kearns 1A, Jack Raslowsky 5A and Carmelo Garcia 6A. Your votes will allow us to continue our dedication in providing our students with the best education possible. This is what our children deserve.
