Talk about improvements to our parks!

Who would have thought of making them more user friendly by creating a wireless internet zone? This is a great amenity for Stevens Park, our Little League Field and the hundreds of residents who utilize these facilities.

Hoboken is a cutting edge city, and this is just more proof of providing more resources for its residents. The wireless internet hot spot provides both practical and recreational uses for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors, especially in an urban setting. Great job by Mayor David Roberts to harness the talents of Stevens Institute of Technology and a private sector business, Symposia Bookstore, to bring this effort to reality. Let's hope we can expand this project to other public spaces throughout our city. Again, this is another example of why Hoboken is one of the most exciting communities in New Jersey.
