Dirty politics is not the way to win an election

Dear Editor:

Having been a long time resident of Hudson County, I am truly disgusted with the negative campaign West New York Mayor Sal Vega is conducting against Brian P. Stack.

Since he has no record to support his bid for the State Senate, Vega has resorted to dirty politics of the lowest form to convince the voters of the 33rd District to vote for him. It seems machine politicians like Mr. Vega have all been conceived and bred in the same family: the traditional mud-making factory of the HCDO.

The recent so called "press conference" held by Vega is a clear example of his efforts to destroy the career of Brian Stack with a filthy exhibition of how not to conduct yourself as an elected official.
The voters are aware of Brian Stack's tireless dedication to the needs and concerns of the people.

The voters are not ignorant. On June 5th they'll answer Mr. Vega with a deserving no to his ways of doing politics. Brian Stack deserves our full support.

Sincerely,
Rafael Martel
