Mayor Vega is a sincere, strong man. He's loyal to his town, and he cares about the people in Hudson County. He's been the kind of Mayor who is approachable and always smiling. It doesn't matter where you come from; if you have a problem, he's there for you, and he always finds a solution.
I know that he's an excellent father and completely devoted to his daughter. Even though he's very busy, he always makes time for her. And he believes that females should have a bigger role in society. He helped Michele Fernandez Lopez become the first elected female commissioner in West New York. And his running mates are two women - something that isn't happening anywhere else in our state. I've been working in local elections for a long time, and I've seen how women are treated differently but he makes sure everyone is respected equally. We couldn't have a better person running for State Senate.
