Each Sunday during election season, I find myself turning to the back page of the Reporter to see how many ham-handed political endorsements I will find.
So instead of wasting everyone's time pointing out everyone else's flaws and telling my neighbors what to do, I'll just tell you why I'm voting for Perry Belfiore to represent the 5th Ward.
Perry is a respectable and trustworthy man who has been fighting for our neighborhood for over 20 years. He has over two decades of civic and community experience having served on both the Hoboken Board of Education and the Hoboken Housing Authority. During this time he has helped to rescue our school system from a state takeover and revive our failing housing authority. I wholeheartedly believe that Perry will provide the experience and determination in the 5th Ward needs on the City Council.
