On Sunday, June 24, 2007, the Puerto Rican Cultural Committee celebrated its 14th Annual Puerto Rican Festival at Pier A. The event was a tremendous success. Over 4,000 spectators enjoyed the music, food and culture of Puerto Rico. I would like to thank the City of Hoboken for allowing us to hold our event at Pier A. I would like to thank Hoboken Police Chief Carmen V. LaBruno, Hoboken Fire Chief John J. Cassesa, the Hoboken Police Department and the Hoboken Fire Department. I would like to acknowledge the outstanding work of Fred Moret and the Hoboken Parks Department, as well as John Corea and the Hoboken Parking Authority. Without your help, the event would not have been as perfect.
